Derek J. Flores is a registered nurse (RN), Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN), and a best-selling author. In May 2020, he appeared as a guest on the internationally broadcast TV show 'The Doctors,' where he provided expert advice on hospice care. His first book, 'Seven Keys to a Peaceful Passing,' is a step-by-step guide for patients and families facing hospice decisions.

 

His latest work, 'Letters to a Hospice Nurse,' is a compilation of stories from families of hospice patients. It includes a companion journal, 'My Letter,' for recording personal thoughts and emotions. Nurse Derek also publishes helpful resources like notebooks and journals for nurses, patients, and families.
