In the 10th episode and season finale of Hospice Explained, host
Marie Betcher, an RN with 30 years' experience, gives a short recap
of the series' inaugural season which includes explaining the
purpose of hospice, the medical professionals involved, insurance
coverage, and the essentiality of discussing end-of-life decisions
with family. She also discusses how non-immediate family
members/friends can assist in hospice care, such as by performing
chores or scheduling visits. Marie announces that Season 2 will
commence June 2021, focusing more on personal experiences, and
invites potential interviewees to get in touch.
